Amsterdam’s Bram van Langen has played more than a thousand concerts across Europe — from living rooms to the Paradiso and Melkweg stages — and learned the genre’s first law: a true song needs only a guitar and a voice. His writing grows out of Nick Drake, Paul Simon, James Taylor and Paul McCartney. One instrument deserves a sentence of its own: a nearly hundred-year-old Swedish harp guitar, rarer on a stage than northern lights over Vilnius. With his debut album “Island” he is touring Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands and Belgium — and, for the first time, Lithuania.
