How I teach

I also teach online — worldwide
Students currently join from Australia, Denmark, the USA, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. The only difference from a lesson at the club is the time zone — and we adapt to that.
A classroom where everything is visible
Lessons happen at a Roland GP9 digital grand, with a second keyboard for the teacher. Everything is wired to a screen that shows:
- Chord names in real time
- The keys the teacher is playing
- Visual theory explanations

Only a genius can help another person discover the genius in themselves.
I’d really rather not recommend this teacher to anyone: I’m afraid there’ll be no lesson times left for me, or the price will go up. So, once more — do not study with him.
You sit down at the piano and hope that time will slow down, just a little.
After a few lessons our five-year-old played a lullaby — with both hands, no less.
The smile never leaves his face, even when you play it wrong for the fifth time.
His patience and warmth make a room where I’m not afraid of mistakes — here they’re part of the learning.
