Four musicians from four countries on one stage: Cypriot pianist and composer Christos Yerolatsitis, one of the Baltics’ finest saxophonists Toms Rudzinskis, drummer Stelios Xydias and bassist Cahit Kutrafali. The music of “Unity” lives between free improvisation, hypnotic rhythms and precise arrangement — every piece a conversation in which all four speak at once and, strangest of all, all four can be heard. The landmarks are Tigran Hamasyan, GoGo Penguin and e.s.t.; the direction is their own.
