One man, one piano, no interval. Turkish pianist and composer Hüseyin Kırmızı brings his Baltic mini tour “Metamorphosis 26” to DPL: contemporary piano, improvisation and Mediterranean motifs written somewhere between composition and impromptu — which is why no two concerts of this tour sound alike. The programme holds pieces from a forthcoming album, earlier works and the cycle “Belle Paix: Memory of the Stones”. Listeners who keep Einaudi, Nils Frahm or Joep Beving at home don’t know this name yet. Until the 19th of August.
